I was blown away by the fantastic research presented by @TMUsurp #MPl #students at the @theMPGSA #graduate student showcase! Their research really challenges us as planners to think critically, push boundaries, & seek new approaches to addressing key issues & trends in planning!

One of the best decisions I made was getting my master of planning @TMUsurp! I owe so much to this program and encourage anyone interested in pursuing their #masters in #urbanplanning to attend the program #openhouse THIS WEDNESDAY!

#Ebikes and #escooters are great ways to explore a new city, especially those with lots of hills like #pittsburgh. Great to see the balance of the hard and soft infrastructure to support cyclists! Bike repair stations & rest areas were scattered along the waterfront routes!
Today I took @TMUsurp students to learn about #community planning #local leadership #urbanagriculture. We toured community gardens in 2 #pgh communities with limited access to #affordable #nutritious food and learned how city-run programs like #adoptalot can help bridge the gap!
Took students to @OasisFarmFish, a black-owned and led urban garden in Pittsburgh's #Homewood neighborhood to learn all about #urban #agriculture and community leadership and capacity building!
I have the privilege of teaching 44 @TMUsurp planning students with @neilloewen this semester and this week we are in #Pittsburgh learning on the ground from planners and community leaders! As a #transportation #planner I had to get out on an e-bike to explore this great city!

The ultimate flex is not packing up your groceries and kids in an SUV but fitting them on one bike and beating the traffic. 🚲
Great weekend exploring #highpark #cherryblossoms. Loved to see the streets closed to cars and full of people walking and cycling! #streetsareforpeople #activetransportation #getoutside
