I've been working on a course for ~2 years, and it's finally out! It's called Responsive Design for Beginners, and in it you'll learn how to build a responsive website from a Figma design with HTML, SCSS, JS. coder-coder.com/responsive here's what the final website looks like:
Have you ever wondered how a website gets made in the real world? In this video, I explain how different teams in marketing work together to design, build, and launch a website-- all to find customers and generate income for the company. Full video: youtu.be/LMyPiH1_Fkw
If, like me, you don't want to see "Today's News" in your feed, here's CSS that will hide it for you (for now, at least). I use the Stylus extension to add custom CSS to sites and it's super effective. (actual code you can copy is in the alt text)

New video out, where I build a weather app with HTML, CSS, & JS using the Open-Meteo Weather API. This is part of the @frontendmentor hackathon going on right now until Oct 6, with a chance to win 1 year of FEM Pro! youtube.com/watch?v=jBE_Oj…

If you've been curious about @frontendmentor, they're running a hackathon for 30 days where you can potentially win a year of their Pro membership. And they've made the Figma file free for everyone during this time! Highly recommend taking advantage of this while you can.
🚨 Hackathon update: We're making the Figma design file FREE for everyone during our 30-Day Hackathon! Based on your feedback, we've upgraded the weather app challenge to free+ access until the hackathon finishes! 🎉 More details 🧵

hey folks! Want to choose the topic for my next video? I do plan to make all of these, eventually. But which one would you like to see first?
New video-- this one is a coding time lapse where I explain the steps of building a website using HTML & CSS, with a video game inspired pop-up dialog and chill ambient music in the background. Hope you enjoy! youtube.com/watch?v=KK0H14…
my second channel is allllmost at 10,000 subs!

Problem-solving is one of the most important skills that you need as a web dev, but most videos don't cover it. I wanted to show you what troubleshooting is like with a @frontendmentor challenge, instead of writing perfect code the first time around. youtube.com/watch?v=_0noaN…
Two new videos out, on how I built a fast WordPress blog from scratch. Watch the 15 min overview: youtube.com/watch?v=oS7IVU… Get the 1.5 hour step-by-step guide: youtube.com/watch?v=_9RElu…

I'm running a summer sale on my course, at 50% off ($200). I also have PPP discounts that you can view when you go to the course website: coder-coder.com/responsive ALSO, I've made the entire Basic course free to the public for this week. Check it out: courses.coder-coder.com/courses/rdb-ba…

I partnered with @bootdotdev to walk through their entire JS course. Super fun, and I learned a lot! You also can go thru all their video lessons for free, which is pretty awesome. Follow along with me ➡️ youtu.be/OOOfBC1grl0

This is so true. I've worked with so many design files that have all the layers on the same level, named like "Layer 24," with no organization or grouping at all 😢 The FEM ones are organized and named nicely and have all the colors and font styles right there for you.
We try our best! ☺️ Making design hand off as simple as possible is key to our challenges. If the dev knows exactly what’s expected (prototypes, mobile/tablet/desktop screens, design system with tokens used in the designs), it makes the build much easier!
Wanted to do a more beginner friendly website build, so here's a video of this Newbie challenge from @frontendmentor Watch here ➡️ youtu.be/N-r70Nvo0C0
