The Phoenix Police Department cleared a quartet of officers who pinned a wrongly-identified man on hot pavement, which burned away chunks of his skin across his body. Why? Basically, they didn’t have a policy warning officers that asphalt in Phoenix is hot.

We discovered Phoenix re-hired former cop -- convicted of abusing a young girl -- to be an aviation dispatcher. It's position that requires a criminal background check and must meet certain TSA factors. This situation is raising a lot of questions.
Just to be clear about the big bill Republicans are passing: it will remove the authority for a President to eliminate federal student debt through executive order. That, sadly, confirms what we already knew — that the authority existed and was clear. This bill is very dangerous.
