Our reception children loved their trip to the Think Tank last week. A great day of adventure, fun learning. The children were a credit to the school throughout, always smiling 😊 We are so proud of their first year with us at St Joseph’s.

We had a very special visit to our reception class from Father Barry this morning.He loved meeting our new children.They sat so beautifully & loved telling Father their names.They were so confident making the sign of the cross as Father blessed them for their school journey ahead
Games evening tonight, chance to visit the shop, a little bit of football outside, card games and even a bit of pampering with face masks! Kids all happy

Fantastic sessions climbing and paddle boarding. Children have now got full tummies after their big lunch topped off with chocolate fudge cake ready for more adventuresthis afternoon!

Back in the lodge now after jam packed first day here. Hot chocolates & marshmallows in their pyjamas and then settle down for evening. Children have been fantastic, really enjoying themselves. We will send an update in the morning, we are confident they will all sleep well.
Raft building - started so well, ended in chaos. Unfortunately Mr G & Mr C may have ‘imbalanced’ it upon boarding the vessel. Kids loved it, and safely on land again!
Abseiling and zip wire fun. Kids were so brave, some facing their fears and conquering- brilliant! Well done Miss T for doing it too and encouraging them.
Dinner time! Kids have all eaten well, enjoying their chocolate brownie and cakes now.
Having a great time on the giant paddle board. They were challenged to all stay on...unfortunately they failed and may have got just a little wet! All safely on dry land now though!
