Divine intervention (rain) to keep the Padres season ALIVE for another day.... Wow....
Marlins-Mets would have to be suspended and resumed/finished — if necessary for playoff purposes — on Monday. Imagine dragging everybody to the ballpark (and the Marlins to New York) for less than an inning, a day after the season was supposed to end? How weird!

The Marlins lead the Mets 2-1 in the top of the 9th inning. But the rain is coming down in New York, and now the tarp is coming out on the field. It’s a rain delay. A win from Miami would officially end the Padres’ postseason hopes. Now, we wait… 🌧️🌧️
