LOST FOOTBALL LEAGUE GROUNDS (10) Manor Ground, Oxford United Opened in 1925, the Manor was made up of a number of stands and terraces. Last used in 2001. This ground and around 500 others are featured in the book, BEYOND THE CEMETERY END. groundtastic.co.uk/beyond
Oxford United are delighted that our planning application for a new 16,000 capacity stadium on land north of the city has been approved by Cherwell District Council.
Oxford United’s new 16,000-seater stadium at Kidlington has been given the go-ahead by Cherwell District Council’s planning committee after a 4.5-hour debate. Councillors voted 14 for, 1 against, 3 abstentions to approve the plans fo the ‘Triangle’ site.
