it's annoying that Gemini and Copilot seemingly refuse to talk about politics, but it's fine handing out medical and even legal advice.

I made Gemini (Advanced) summarize @TheRunningManZ 's 8-hour livestream from yesterday as a curious experiment. This was the result. Paul (Dave) and chat, is this accurate?

Reviewing smartwatches and their health tracking features in the last few months, and the biggest glaring omission I see is there's no accounting whether someone has young kids, which deeply affects the majority of the metrics these watches and services track. Especially sleep.

Why take recreational drugs when you can just eat half a McDonald’s meal before remembering you have a Diet Coke, and take that first sip?

So, Ontario, CA. Is that Canada, or California?

Now that Apple discontinued its Mini iPhones, there's a huge gap for a smaller phone in general, including Android. iPhone SE is an option, but not if you're looking premium features.

Now it's time to check my emails to see who dared send me an email during the Apple event.

I love Samsung phones, but I truly don't understand what people see in their cameras. Year after year, they take the same flat, over-exposed, detail-robbed, shadows-be-damned, neon grass photos that I just can't get behind.

Bummed to hear about Amazon cancelling “The Peripheral” because of the ongoing writer strikes. But I don’t get it, doesn’t this make it seem like studios would rather cancel shows than pay their writers fairly? Doesn’t that look bad for Amazon?

After a good stint on the iPhone 14 Pro, I’m back on the Pro Max for its bigger screen and longer battery life. I just wish it was lighter.

No, iPhone. I meant to write “well,” not “we’ll”

well, there goes my tweetdeck

Is the new Geekbench 6 reliable/accurate? I'm trying to get an idea of technical performance difference between the Pixel 6a vs Pixel 7a, and both score nearly identically on Geekbench 6...

My 2-year-old, who is used to big giant modern phones, just picked up my old iPhone 4 and exclaimed "a baby phone!"

Android phones really need an Apple Face ID equivalent that works well in the dark. The fingerprint scanners and facial recognition they have now just doesn't work as well as the iPhone's Face ID.
