HPS members working yesterday on the dayshift and nightshift juggled over 30 calls for service that included several arrests for various crimes. Great work by our HPS team. Please remember that heavy workload volumes result in calls getting prioritized according to needs.

HPS officers on nightshift located a female suspect sleeping in a bank lobby who was wanted by the OPP on an outstanding warrant. She was taken into custody and turned over to the South Bruce OPP on their charges. #EngagedPatrol

I know very little about Premier Cochrane so I'll confess that ignorance right off the bat. But yesterday she drove around Yellowknife with an unhoused person looking for more unhoused people to assist personally and help evacuate. This Premier deserves our respect.
