A positive of the pandemic was increased accessibility for people to attend community meetings. The ability to attend remotely allowed more people to balance family obligations, disabilities, and other commitments with their political and civic engagement.

We fully support Assembly Woman @yuhline's bill to modernize @NYGov #openmeetings. As the emergency deceleration ended, so have provisions for virtual #opengovernment meetings. This means access to gov reverts to those who have time, money, & ability. nysenate.gov/legislation/bi…

Wow, stop the presses!!! 📰😱

NYC Board of Elections reported false results today. Actual results of the primary are as yet unknown. (Original numbers didn’t include absentee ballots anyway.) bit.ly/3x5xph2

We are aware there is a discrepancy in the unofficial RCV round by round elimination report. We are working with our RCV technical staff to identify where the discrepancy occurred. We ask the public, elected officials and candidates to have patience.

In NYC, "The Left" is "The Left"'s worse enemy. Too many purity tests, too stuck to catch phrases, and too fickle. There is a whole City with hundreds of neighborhoods that have different experiences and want different things. "Progress" doesn't come in one type of package.
