Generally agreed on everything here! Though I doubt it is ever possible to get things right on the first try. My work in IBC is complete when the protocol is adaptable enough for future devs to undo all the mistakes we made
I'll give an answer here from my perspective, although I'm only one observer (and perhaps biased). I also want to note that I still think IBC is the best, and certainly most-standardized, blockchain interoperability protocol currently in existence - nothing even comes close.
