Yesterday, I attended the Commemoration on the Hill honouring the 14 young women whose lives were taken at Polytechnique Montréal 36 years ago. We say their names. We honour their lives. We reaffirm our shared commitment to ending gender-based violence.

“Doing the work” would involve revoking all guidance that says spaces and services designated for women are for anyone who identifies as a woman. It’d involve finding a solution for feminized men to be safe from harm without dismantling protections for women.
