Cross country racing returned on Saturday with the SVHC trials. Up and down the hills of Tollcross in torrential rain and storm Amy. I was as honking as ever but it'll apparently put hairs on my head. Now bring on Kilmarnock and the relays!!! @CambuslangH @scotathletics

Two track PBs at the age of 54 this week taking on the youngsters. 1500m and 3000m. Yesterdays 3000m bittersweet as came from a long way down last 2 laps to nearly threaten a medal in the LAAAs. Happy but not satisfied, but grateful to compete @CambuslangH @Tartanshorts @yhrfpod

The look of a man dropped from his group after less than 3k and not quite able to catch it up again after a few solo ks. Scottish 10k champs, 4th M50, from 32s off the medals at 2k to go to 5s at the end. Effort? 100% there. Legs? Posted missing. Grateful to still race.
