Making things simpler

I remember wondering why @nextjs released a function called ‘after’ because I thought it did the same as finally lol

Sadly it does not work this way. The confusion around it is enough a reason to almost never use “finally”

Palestinians are always welcome in Egypt, but they have the right to stay in THEIR land Relocating Palestinian means giving their land up And that shall not happen

JUST IN: 🇪🇬🇵🇸 Egypt rejects any relocation or transfer of Palestinians to its country.

This is going to sound very anti-intellectual, but has anyone in the history of documentation ever said "fuck yes, thanks for that diagram, I prefer that over just 30 lines of examples"?

How is this considered ok in @tan_stack table? React says that if the code doesn't work without useMemo, then there must be an underlying issue @TkDodo

Good news, people If you don't have a modern Internet connection, don't use email just use the post office That's a very garbage argument to support his take tbh

It's also fine to make the argument that if you're somewhere in the world without a modern internet connection, you shouldn't use the web at all for calendar or email. But HEY never had a lot of customers in the Amazonian jungle or Artic or wherever else that might be.

The xz fiasco has shown how a dependence on unpaid volunteers can cause major problems. Trillion dollar corporations expect free and urgent support from volunteers. @Microsoft @MicrosoftTeams posted on a bug tracker full of volunteers that their issue is "high priority"

Until she taught me how to paste it on word without formatting 10x productivity boost xD

Does anyone else uses the browser address bar to strip the text formatting?

Now I feel like people will start with this instead of really learning React. As much as I love NextJS, I think this is bad.

We updated the Next.js Foundations course to include the App Router and Server Components. Great for those who are new to React or just want a refresher 😊 nextjs.org/learn/react-fo…

Is this a viable solution to get a loading indicator during page change in @nextjs app router? @leeerob Could you help me out with this? There's nothing in the docs that explain how to know if a route is loading

I just made a JSX router in bun.js. I feel this is illegal, but it looks nice TBH🤐 #bun #bunjs #javascript

On this day 10 years ago, @reactjs was introduced. Congratulations to the React team for a decade of innovation. vercel.com/blog/10-years-…

Please JavaScript, give us something other than try and catch 🥺

I think phosphor-icons is a very underrated set of icons. It really looks great and has many variants and also supports React and other frameworks. I almost use it at every project. phosphoricons.com

I wish @nextjs allowed layout.js to not have a default export. Sometimes I just want to export metadata not a layout.
