研究室のZhaoさんらの論文です。dsDNAウイルスの類似配列領域を真核生物の全ての系統のゲノムデータ中に徹底的に探索しました。最大16%のゲノム領域がdsDNAウイルス類似配列の例もあり、これまでに知られていないウイルスと宿主の関係が多数浮き彫りになりました。biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Our new preprint! Using two years of seawater metagenomes, we generated 1,065 giant virus genomes and found that viruses with broader niche breadth tended to have greater microdiversity. Additionally, year-round recovery patterns were observed in the viral microdiveristy.
