Honestly the EA community's reaction to the SBF collapse has been far less defensive and much more focused on trying to figure out what lessons to learn than even I would have expected.
it's kinda wild that that the EA take on SBF is "curse you, villain, we shall now wallow in penance for the sins you tainted us with" and the NYT take on SBF is "yeah the poor guy was overextended there for a bit but thankfully he's getting some well-earned sleep now"
