Some nice things about winter: babies in woolly hats with teddy ears, Nordmann Firs, hot cocoa cups after a snowy walk, knitted socks with penguins on them, butternut squash soup, candles, rain pattering against the windows as you read a book wrapped in a tartan blanket.
