Your understanding of class is so juvenile: class is materially mediated and experienced through race, gender, disability, sexuality etc. You can't seperate them, or wish them away for political convenience. This is just old, boring, masculinist, class reductionism.

Unlike gender ideology, class consciousness is a reflection of the material class reality, not just subjective identification. People aren't working class just because they identify as such.

Class isn’t just about “who had to stay home and who didn’t.” It’s about who controls the means of production and who bears the brunt of exploitation. Whose life is valuable and protected, who’s deemed not worthy of protection and why. Who is treated as fungible/replaceable, etc.

OP with all their self-proclaimed wisdom, is taking great pains to intentionally side step or somehow fail to recognize the fact that class isn't about aesthetics of Zoom or the perceived moral failures of "Laptop Class" workers. It’s about how people relate to capital.
