Do you know that one of the most meaningful changes in #CloudSimPlus is its easiness of use? That means less code which is easier to understand. This way, you can focus on the important issues of your research. Check this fully functional example in 21 lines of code.

Hey #cloud researchers. What about changing #CloudSimPlus version from 6.4.4 to 6.5.1 and get about 45% of performance improvements? That means almost half the time for simulation execution. Huge improvement for large-scale simulations. Take a look at such amazing results.

#CloudSimPlus 0.8-beta6 released: enable parallel simulations execution by instantiating different CloudSim objects cloudsimplus.org

Some excellent reasons to use #CloudSimPlus: easier to use, broad and updated docs; -30% in code duplication; +83% of code covered by tests.

Code duplication reduction in #CloudSimPlus enables developers to create custom classes for their simulations, without changing core classes

1 reason to use #CloudSimPlus #Cloud #Computing #Simulation #Framework? This new feature worths it: app.getVm().getHost().getDatacenter()

Going to my first international speech to present #CloudSimPlus :) #IM2017 cloudsimplus.org

#CloudSimPlus has a new beta release. It has never been easier to run the examples with a simple command line. github.com/manoelcampos/c…

Have you checked the #CloudSimPlus home page with a new Table of Contents? Now you can go straight to the point :) cloudsimplus.org

No problem. Anyway, #CloudSimPlus has some compatibility with CloudSim and aims to fix these kind of issues, and it has good docs

If your project needs a general-purpose feature in #CloudSimPlus that other researchers can benefit from, open a new issue. Together we can make it happen.

#CloudSimPlus has active support and a growing community. Start a discussion so that we can try to help.

#CloudSimPlus provides high extensibility to enable you to actually use it as an underlying simulation framework, by just adding it as a dependency into your own project. Usually, you don't need to touch the framework code.

The lack of support in CloudSim may force you to follow that path. Indeed, #CloudSimPlus is a fork of #CloudSim, which seems to contradict everything above. However, it was created as an independent fork, willing to be the state-of-the-art cloud computing simulation framework.

Hey researchers, have you wondered what are the practical differences between #CloudSim and #CloudSimPlus. This side-by-side example makes it completely clear. Check it out. cloudsimplus.org/docs/CloudSim-…

Hey, #cloud #computing researchers. Are you willing to have a #CloudSimPlus talk/course at your institution to make it easier to start creating cloud computing simulations? Send me a DM and let's try to schedule that.

1/2 Hey #cloud #computing researchers. Have you ever wanted to create experiments to simulate multi-cloud environments and were never able to do that? Now #CloudSimPlus 7.2.0 has support for it, enabling inter-datacenter VM migrations.

#CloudSimPlus 6.4 is out and provides even better accuracy in simulating #cloud #computing infrastructures. Now you can add a delay for powering a Host or/off. Previously, when you started up or shut down a Host, that happened immediately. Check it out at cloudsimplus.org

3/4 #CloudSimPlus is the only cloud computing-specific #simulation #framework that enables you to create #experiments to simultaneously assess network traffic and power consumption. The redesigned power module even enables you to implement power models for network assets.
