Today I was supposed to to practice what I learned yesterday 🥹 Which is Computers & Operating Systems •Computers process, store, input, and output data. •OS = software that manages your computer (Windows, Linux, macOS). •Windows = common desktop, frequent attack target
Update on my Day 2- I learned about Computer and Operating System for Cybersecurity beginners. The Basic of Computer was define I.e Computer is a machine that process data(CPU) store data (RAM HARD DRIVES SSD) take input (Keyboard,Mouse,Sensor)and give output(speaker,Printer)
🔟 systeminfo This displays complete PC configuration like RAM, BIOS, OS etc..
As it executes, the CPU’s internal circuits work. The CPU includes: • ALU (Arithmetic Logic Unit) which performs math • Registers which are tiny, ultra-fast storage cells. • Control unit which directs internal components. • Cache and memory interface which moves data in/out.
The CPU has a special place inside it called the Program Counter (PC) which holds the memory address of the next instruction. The CPU reads that address, retrieves the machine code stored there, places the instruction into an internal buffer This takes a few nanoseconds.

I’m starting my cybersecurity journey from absolute zero — no background, no experience. Just curiosity, discipline, and YouTube. This thread is where I’ll document everything I learn until I become solid in this field. Let’s go. 🚀🔐 Day 1 - starting tomorrow 🫶🏿❤️
And it isn't "like 6 parts" was my point, moron. Case, power supply, motherboard, processor, CPU cooling, cooling system (which is MULTIPLE pieces), storage/SSD, Video/Sound if onboard doesn't exist; then you have all the outside components Monitor, Keyboard/mouse and SOFTWARE.
cool that this breaks down all the different parts of your computer
Ever wondered why your computer runs like it's stuck in the mud while your friend's machine blazes through tasks? Dive into the essential parts that make up every computer and why choosing premium components can make or break your trading success. eztrading.pro/trading-hardwa…
The motherboard is the main circuit board in a computer, connecting all the components and allowing them to communicate with each other. #MindsetMatters #StockMarket
Day 9 ✅ Part 1 🙌 Started my Computer Organization & Architecture journey today! Covered the basics: • Components of a computer • Special purpose registers • Memory & its types • Architecture size • Memory hierarchy • Cache memory • Average memory access time • Cache…

The soundcard is, overall, irrellevant to the post and number of parts. Motherboard, processor, cooling system (4-8 pieces), case, thermal paste, memory (at least 1), 1 storage drive (ssd or otherwise), powersupply (lets ignore all the cables you may need extra). Lets say 10.
How Linux🐧 works from pressing power button to final screen❓ Here's a breakdown of the key components and processes involved 🐧 Power On! ⚡ This signifies the start of the process, when the computer is powered on. 🐧 BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) & ROM (Read-Only Memory)…
Security Component: A robust, comprehensive component handling complex authentication, authorization, user management, and security firewalls.
How basic-ass is your computer? My CPU fan is 3 parts and case has 5 fans on it. 4 mem slots (you can run 1), the video card, (op) sound card, motherboard, any extra card, SSD, Power (cables can be separate), any other storage drives... Oh and Processor that you have to thermal
Linus Tech Tips has a full guide. The core components to build a regular PC all look the exact same. Motherboard, CPU, Ram, GPU, PSU, Hard Drive.
Because a collection of components combines into a module that goes into some other system. What’s easier - keeping every single IC that all of your systems use on hand plus someone that can do board repairs, or a handful of user replaceable modules?
Explanation Needed: What Are CPU Processor Cores When you view a spec sheet regarding a processor or hear people talk about a computer's "cores", they're referring to an independent processing unit within the CPU (central processing unit) that acts as the proverbial brain of the…
