🧇 November 12 in Amsterdam is Do iOS: do-ios.com #doios
@azamsharp Nice talk at @iOSConf ! Specifically about the multiple modal issue you mentioned, I wrote about a possible solution a while back: blog.martinp7r.com/posts/decouple… #doios #iosdev
This is my personal sum-up of the @iOSConf conference that I attended last week. I am going to admit that I’ve found the whole conference experience amazing, the organisation was on-point, the talks were precisely on time, with a quality line of speakers and great topics. #doios
On my way home after 3 days of #doios by @iOSConf. Feeling a bit tired, but oh man was it great. Learned a lot, met awesome people and had a great time. Really great I got to attend. 🤩 First conference, took me a little push to go, but I now kinda can’t wait for next year 😁🙌
One last thought about Do iOS Conference. A lot of immigrants sharing knowledge and experiences about mobile development overseas. Bad english, good english, strong accent or none, it didn’t matter. It was all about connecting and having a good time. #doios
#doios is the first iOS conference that I attended and I had a blast. The best part is meeting so many great people and feeling part of a community ♥️
Last talk of the conference is by @BettyGodier. She’s talking about the capabilities and Swift Charts, how to build them and what you can achieve with them. It’s a great framework that makes it really easy to visualize your data and getting started is really easy! #doios
Learning more about developing for the Apple Watch with @hiddevdploeg. Love to see how his beautiful apps have been built and how his design background influences his way of building applications. Beautiful slides and I really want to start developing for it now!!🧐 #doios
A wonderful talk by @mennenia was next talking about one little thing we all can do to improve our apps - empathy. A lot of tips about doing user research and how to ask your (potential) users the right questions. With an impressive live demo with @AppForce1 himself! #doios
One interesting talk follows the other, now it’s @mennenia on increasing your product impact 🚀 #doios
@polpielladev did an amazing job talking about the power of building new things on Swift #doios
It’s always nice watching any presentation from @dimsumthinking about SwiftUI. It’s crazy how he is able to take “something” complex-ish or something new and being presentable for everyone. #doios
Flying in from Montreal, @Frankacy is talking about creating your own network stack. The refactoring of a bloated codebase for a feature that basically every app needs in small incremental steps. Great insights and he promises to spark joy while doing it! ✨ #doios
Great talk of @polpielladev! I will use some solution described here with my tools! Thanks! #doios @iOSConf
Next to is @polpielladev, talking about Swift for scripting. He describes why it is a good fit, how he built up his project from a simple script to a full-blown executable. Very cool to see the steps he needed to go through and the power of @SwiftLang in that realm! #doios
Did you know @polpielladev collects Soccer jerseys? But he also knows how to take us on a non obvious whirlwind tour of things you can also do with Swift. Fun Swift tools and where to find them? #doios
