Great example of a 10 minute rule bill by one of our local MPs. Backbenchers can impact legislation in this way. However, on this occasion, Jonathan Gullis' attempt to ignore human rights and deport refugees to Rwanda was defeated at the first hurdle in HoC. #ExampleBank

Good example of devolved powers for Scotland here. Some big differences in how to apply to change gender in Scotland compared to the rest of the UK. #ExampleBank
