As we start October, we wanted to come #ExploreDowntownYYC with our #TBT. We’re heading to the Petro-Fina Building which has been here since 1960 & will continue to stand for years to come thanks to our downtown office to residential and Heritage Conservation Grant programs.
As you #ExploreDowntownYYC you may notice some changes around Eau Claire with the completion of the 1.39km long Flood Barrier. Sheet piles, earthen berms, walls & demountable stop log openings all work together to resist a 1:200-year flood event. Come check it out this weekend.
