Yeah. With as many poorly made buildings and disgruntled employee factory fires and e-vehicles or bikes that catch on fire you suffer, you need to figure your firefighting 💩 out.
The fire at 11 Thorncliffe Park & 21 Overlea is a logistical challenge. The buildings are attached and there is a membrane or liner between the two. Fire Chief Jessop shows a piece of that liner that’s slowly burning. Fire fighters lack access to the tight space to put it out
We have some of the same problems (related to possible/occasional intensity, sensitivity etc). Both are almost “unstable” in the sense that water will flow/fall almost anywhere, and fire will burn through just about anything. Also; Fire and Water make steam 😁

No, the biggest issues for firefighters are as follows: 1. An ageing, not fit for purpose, break down prone fleet. 2. The same number of firefighters as 20 years ago even though population numbers have increased markedly. 3. Poor pay & unsafe working conditions.
Fires not only continue to be a problem, they are far more dangerous for firefighters because of the chemicals in furniture and other items.

The biggest challenge is that built-in sprinklers alone can’t fully extinguish a large-scale fire.
Your setup seems to be missing a fire suppression system or standby firefighter.
This seems to be happening quite often. Fires catching due to faulty wiring or "mishandled candles". I can only wonder when they'll finally catch onto what they're doing wrong and get their folly in line.

This fire reflects Gov problem. Styles may changing to covering / redirecting failures, not focus on ground works, also cut cost leading no enough people to maintains.
Mine's misbehaving, too - got rainwater down its flue in a storm and the igniter now fails about a quarter of the time, causing it to lock-out. Naturally, I can't find an available technician around here to service it, now I need one 😑
