Attended the 15th World Congress on Health Economics in Cape Town, South Africa (July 8-12, 2023). Presented my team’s research on the cost-effectiveness of a public health intervention. Thanks to the project PIs and co-leads! #IHEA2023CONGRESS #ResearchPresentation
At #IHEA2023Congress, I had the pleasure of meeting @EdwineBarasa and @john_ataguba who are globally acclaimed thought leaders in health economics that are making a difference in Africa by expanding scholarship and shaping policies for better equity in health financing.
Main highlight of today was that 20 minutes into safari we got stuck about 10m away from the hippos and had to escape to another vehicle 😬 Second highlight was seeing 257 health economists all doing the same safari 😁 #ihea2023 #ihea2023congress #healtheconomics
