Actually I still have the default, but I don't use finder much. If I want to find something, I use the unix "find" command where it's easier to specify constraints on the search based on date/time etc.

Ahora, por otra parte, la mayoría de programas en Linux, después de ser instalados, los puedes buscar en el buscador del "Menú Inicio". Y es MUY raro que no los encuentres por ahí, y si te pasa: uuuuyyy... comando "which" y "whereis" en la terminal no más xD

Tengo que admitir que en Windows eso es más fácil. Si un programa no lo encuentras en Archivos del Programa, entonces, quizá está en AppData (2 sitios). En Linux: los programas pueden instalarse en... /home/usuario/.var/app /home/usuario/snap /home/usuario/.local (3 sitios o +)
