beauty. So to me logic is our best tether to fact that there are objective truths in the universe, and it gives me hope if not evidence that things like beauty and morality are also real and objective, not just mere preference. its our one link to to the mind of God.
pure rationalism gave us Mathematics and physics. What dragged us out of the middle ages? Calculus. Logic gave us things like the sum of all positive integers that our GPS systems don't work without. And we know they are true. This is a pearl beyond compare metaphysically.
