Project time again! This time, for human body systems. @MrsMacLeodsRoom and I have our classes making human body molds with plastic wrap and packing tape, which will be filled with multi-material organ systems in the coming weeks 💀
Most importantly, we got to practice our collaboration skills, learn the difference between stealing ideas and being inspired by our classmates. #MakerEdNS

Ancient civilizations projects are underway. 3D designing a crown, green screen videos, Bloxels games, stop motion, Blooket game creation, sewing and more are in the works. 1.5 hours felt like 15 minutes... I'm excited to see how far these go! 👑 #MakerEdNS @westbedfordPP_8

A cardboard Colosseum, 3D printer medieval crown, and a Bloxels game sharing details from a medieval war were all shared today. #HRCEliteracy #MakerEdNS

The next project to showcase is this Kimono from Ancient Japan. This Maker learned how to use a sewing machine, and is hand sewing the smaller details. Fabric flowers are next! Thanks to my mom for her annual classroom visit to help with sewing! 🙂 #MakerEdNS @westbedfordPP_8

Over 200 @westbedfordPP_8 students in seven gr 5-6 classes participated in this @NeilSquireSoc program last week. 130 switches and more than 40 toys were adapted for kids this holiday season! 🎁 Happy Holidays! #MakerEdNS @nseducation @HRCE_NS
A very successful session with @mmc_courtney & Aiden from @MakerMakeChange this afternoon. We hacked 14 lava lamps so kids with physical disabilities can get accessible toys this holiday season. Thanks to our parent volunteers! #MakerEdNS #HackTheHolidays @westbedfordPP_8
