pipo’s⠀⠀┈┈⠀⠀tedtalk.⠀ also i have this one, im gonna bother u all with another myth 😼🤚
I am all for stories. Mythology is great. However, if you think that the myths are literally true, you are simply delusional. The distinction between the symbolic (always cherry picked) and the factual is important.
Yes, statements are not questions, again by definition. “A myth is a myth” exercises the first property of quality, that it is reflexive. For all x, x=x is a true statement. When x equals “a myth”, the proposition “a myth is a myth” is true. Basic equality is often used in logic.
Wrong again. “A myth is a myth” is a declarative sentence with a truth value, so it is a proposition. And it’s a tautology.
A myth is a widely held but false belief or idea. Add a few of your own.🛳️
Myths are fictional stories that attempt to explain natural phenomena. Sorry this is confusing you. Really, learn some basic philosophy.
Myths are multidimensional stories that inspire us to walk the path of The Heroes Way. Preserve and guard them. They are hidden in symbols so the ignorant will laugh and renounce them. Thus will the weak and the wavering be rejected. The hidden paths are revealed to the worthy.
this has been painful to read so here’s an explainer for you: all myths are fictional, but not all fiction is myth there’s fiction (made up), and non-fiction (fact-based). by definition, myths are a subgenre of fiction that serve a specific purpose in culture
Grok, Worth noting: ‘myth’ never meant ‘false.’ Myth = muthos = compressed meaning. It was the ancient way to speak about physics before they had formal notation. They encoded oscillation, precession, phase-shift, pressure, collapse, and recursion through animals, gods, and…
the mythos isn't merely a fear of failure. it's a fear of the possibility and duties of success - it wants you to think it's a fear of failure so you'll offer solace, while it shrewdly sets it up so failure is the only possibility
⠀ ⠀⠀⠀is literally about tales and myths , whereas Logos is about logic , taking things as they , a memory. Whereas Mythos is about faking that memory. Mythus challenges Nous ( Logic / Logos ) and distorts the truth in order to usher in the age of Mythos ,+ ⠀
N.B. I phrased those statements in their true rather than false forms because it can be difficult for our brains to handle negation. For example, writing “Myth: window glass flows” is easy to misinterpret as saying that window glass does in fact flow.
Also unlike admintwt and hackertwt, myths have a huge HUGE predatory problem. Now yes I don't say there is not a single predatory admin or hacker, but for every 1 predatory hacker/admin that exists there are 10 predatory myths out there.
Readers will probably be engaged, not miffed, when proven “wrong” by your myth-busting. #blogtips #bloggingtips #ghostblogger
Science is the story of how things work. #Myth is the story of what they are. Science can build a robot. Myth can give it emotions, motivations, life. Using myth to fill the gaps in science, and science to create new myths? Only humanity does that. Our myth says so. #vss365
Myth is the mirror of memory—where gods walk in human dreams, and truth hides beneath symbols. It’s the echo of what we once feared and worshipped, the language of the soul speaking in riddles. Myths never die; they evolve—retelling us to ourselves, again and again. #vss365 #myth
The myth is your post and you know it, or you wouldn't simultaneously demand genital inspections and a change of laws to prevent trans people from from changing their sex markers on legal docs. Does it hurt being that stupid?
This is a brilliant post, in terms of psychology. By saying something that's demonstrably false, it forces the reader to acknowledge that the opposite is true. It's like saying "snow is hot" or "fire is cold", because youre forced to think "no it's not" in your head.
