In summary, our work identifies a novel mechanism involved in #mitochondrial_biogenesis from 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 mitochondria. It is based on: N6AMT1 > TRMT10C/PRORP synthesis > mtRNA processing > OXPHOS Could that explain how #N6AMT1 participates to #cancerproliferation? 8/9


In #N6AMT1-depleted cells: ❌#mitochondrial_translation#OXPHOS ⏫unprocessed #mtRNA and #dsRNA - a very immunogenic molecule ‼️#interferon and #innate_immunity signaling are triggered 🦠 7/9


We found #N6AMT1 affects cytosolic translation, in particular enzymes of the #mtRNA_metabolism machinery. We confirmed this using #mePROD and #mePRODmt @MuenchLab Strikingly, two proteins were common across all three technologies: #TRMT10C (MRPP1) and #PRORP (MRPP3). 5/9
