Maine slaps so hard it feels like Stephen King wrote the whole coastline. Foggy mornings, lobster claws, and forests that whisper secrets. Where the vibes are haunted & the maple hits deep. #PineTreePower #EastCoastEerie 🦞🌲🌫️📚👻🪵

This is a blueprint for every jurisdiction to take back power. #PineTreePower pinetreepower.org/about/#:~:text….

I voted for #PineTreePower. Sadly, Mainers voted to keep the #Foreign owners. Is it any wonder power costs are high. Foreigners are interested in profits for their stockholders. 😒

We could have had #PineTreePower, a non-profit owned by the citizens of #Maine. Their interest would have been providing quality power distribution to Maine. Voters rejected it. So instead, we have Versant and CMP, both #Foreign own companies, who are only interested in…

A week out from Maine's vote on #PineTreePower—some thoughts 🧵

Mainers rejected a state takeover of electrical utilities. Read about the activists behind the campaign and how their lunacy continues to threaten Mainer’s way of life. #mepolitics #PineTreePower #energy

Maine’s residential electricity rates are already 59% higher than the national average. They will only rise more if #Maine cannot build pipelines, transmission lines, and power stations. bit.ly/3QSodJf

But when faced with $40 million in negative and misleading advertising about having a public (or nonprofit ownership), good luck. #MaineElection #PineTreePower

NEW POLL: A strong majority of likely voters nationwide (68%) support having a publicly owned utility as their local utility provider. dataforprogress.org/blog/2023/10/2…

I’m proud of you, #maine. Anytime somebody tells you they’ll save you money, stand up more egregiously expensive tech, AND improve reliability that is just somebody trying to bleed out your asset, float away on a golden parachute & leave u with the bag. Nice try, #PineTreePower

#MaineElections #Vote2023 Statistically speaking-- many of these races are probably over With more than 50,000 or so votes (unofficial) in across the state... Yes on Q3/Pine Tree Power is down more than 2 to 1 That is not a deficit you see overcome #PineTreePower #CMP

Still there. Been there for 6 months. Personally reported twice to @cmpco . Maybe they are waiting till they get the result of the voting on #PineTreePower to see if it's their problem or not. This is why people hate CMP....

When you vote today, don't forget to vote YES on Question 3! Its time for Maine to have local control of our power company...and vote out CMP & Versant. #YesOn3 #PineTreePower

Y'all have been out spent, hopefully not outsmarted! #PineTreepower

Why vote YES on Question 3? Because its time for Maine to have local control of our power company...and to vote out CMP & Versant. #YesOn3 #PineTreePower

Maine Energy Progress and @CMP are the same people who want Maine citizens to believe #PineTreePower will be a failure. But our electric service and rates can only get better after dealing with their failures. Don't believe their lies! Vote "YES" on Question 3

When I lived in Gilmanton, NH we had New Hampshire Electric Cooperative and enjoyed excellent service, reasonable rates, and a role in its governance. I remember saying when someone complained about rates that fortunately we had the Coop.

Our experience is similar. Our street is NH Electric Cooperative. They are fantastic. Most of town has Eversource. The NHEC households get better service, save money and energy, and have a say in how the cooperative is run. #MePolitics #Maine #NHPolitics
