Next week we will be celebrating 1000+ showers for #projectrefresh (and giving out backpacks on top of our usual services). It has been incredible to see the program grow.

Unfortunately some of the health gains that can be seen from a top-down perspective are due to the loss of 6,000 black residents from the neighbors. Who do we serve. The presence of @WholeFoods complicates the health message with displacement #projectrefresh #ACD45

Unsheltered advocates in the South Bay. Every Tuesday CTH runs #ProjectReFresh from 9AM-2PM (location 465 C. Street). The following dates we will have a medical resident on site that can provide wound care/check vitals, ect. Spread the word. The dates: 8/30. 9/20. 9/27.

5) CTH has been doing quarterly #ProjectReFresh mobile shower events at Harborside since last year. We have seen the growth in the unsheltered population and the need but to be clear these folks aren't service resistant. They welcome the services. They need them.

Reminder this park was next to the County building. CTH has done numerous #ProjectReFresh events here. These people have nowhere to go. There is no shelter in Chula Vista. Repeat there is not a single shelter in CV.

Not an hour after the article dropped CVPD came down during CTH #ProjectReFresh mobile shower day (they have never been before) and were giving a hard time to our RV clients who were only parked across the street to receive a shower. This is unacceptable. Felt retaliatory.
