#recsys2021 is on its last day in Amsterdam. I still have a few copies of my book "Practical Recommender Systems", which it would be a shame to have to carry back to Denmark. If you are or know a student beginning study recommenders, I can give you a copy.

#recsys2023 is coming to an end. Sad to not be there, but great to watch some afternoon sessions live, an rewatch others later during the day. The RecSy Virtual Hub, that we developed with @executivevents for hybrid #recsys2021 in Amsterdam, makes this more enjoyable and easy!

Having read multiple reviews of the recent #RecSys2021 conference, I am starting to think quite a few attendees have a different notion of what a user study entails than me. With such a strong focus on algoritm-related metrics only, I feel a bit disconnected from the community.
