Love this graphical description of TRIM transposable elements presented by Sonia Garcia at the 10th #RepeatExplorer workshop in #CeskeBudejovice #Bioinformatics
Fantastic #RepeatExplorer workshop organized by @MacasLab. A huge thank you to our special guest @JohannConfais from @INRAE_URGI for his captivating presentation on REPET. Thanks to the backing of @ELIXIRCZ & @ELIXIREurope, this event marked the beginning of a new collaboration.
Our test cases: Test case 1 (green path in map): Long and highly confident repeat consensus sequences from #RepeatExplorer clusters
Our test cases: Test case 1: Long and confident repeat consensus sequences from #RepeatExplorer clusters --> the produced NODEs are more reliable than the cluster contigs 3/9
Really enjoyed the #RepeatExplorer workshop and all those interesting talks with @toheitka and @crim_bubble #phdlife #phdchat #postdoc #genomics #transposon #repeats #neverstoplearning
🌼We began by low coverage sequencing (WGS) of the triploid saffron. Using read clustering with #RepeatExplorer, we identified and characterized the six main satDNAs. 🧬Illumina WGS reads: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sra/ERX2828532 7/20
Registration to the #RepeatExplorer Workshop is open! This year we will have in-person event again (May 24-26). More info and registration: repeatexplorer.org/?page_id=14 @BiologyCentre
