In a significant milestone, HAL has been selected for Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV) Transfer of Technology (ToT) by Indian National Space Promotion & Authorization Centre (IN-SPACe). HAL will be responsible for absorbing, manufacturing & commercializing SSLV technology.
The first operational launch of ISRO's SSLV rocket is tentatively scheduled to take place in Q4, 2025! 🚀 Before this, there have been 3 developmental flights of SSLV (D1, D2, & D3), of which all except D1 were successful.
