my one biggest regret of the former academic twitter: there's no conference livetweeting anymore. Like right now, there's the #syntaxFest in Lubjana, with 5 conferences (UDW, TLT, Quasi, IWPT, DEPLing) and pp hardly know about it. I even missed the call for participations..
Videos from #GURT2023/#SyntaxFest are now up on the ACL Anthology: aclanthology.org/events/syntaxf… The 4 workshops: - CxGs+NLP - Depling - TLT - UDW
A: "We decided that there should be a #SemanticsFest in addition to #SyntaxFest, and that #ConstructionGrammars should be a part of both." – Claire Bonial
Papers from all three editions of #SyntaxFest are now neatly organized in the ACL Anthology: aclanthology.org/venues/syntaxf…
I really do like the #SyntaxFest logos ! The one at #Gurt2023 (held Washington) is really cool. Notice the dependencies for that Washington Monument
Looking forward to @simon_mille @DCU presenting his paper on Natural Language Generation at GURT's #SyntaxFest 2023 event in @Georgetown this week! More info: gurt.georgetown.edu/gurt-2023/
Not too late to register for #GURT2023/#SyntaxFest, which starts 1 week from today! gurt.georgetown.edu
The @GURoundTable/#SyntaxFest 2023 proceedings are now out in the @aclanthology. Congratulations to all authors! aclanthology.org/sigs/sigparse/

Registration for #GURT2023 is now open! The theme is “Computational & Corpus Linguistics”, with a new workshop on CxGs+NLP. In-person for the first time since 2019! #SyntaxFest #CorpusLinguistics #ComputationalLinguistics #NLP gurt.georgetown.edu/gurt-2023/
btw pp who live near DC, there're good chances that the next #SyntaxFest #SyntaxFest2023 will take place at Georgestown next year (during springbreak). Maybe a bit far from your core research topics but a good way to talk to pp who create the data sets we all cherish :)
Thanks everyone for a very fruitful #SyntaxFest conference! We'll be back, stay tuned!
Check out Flavio M. Cecchini's presentation at #SyntaxFest: "Formae reformandae: For a reorganisation of verb form annotation in Universal Dependencies illustrated by the specific case of Latin" > slides github.com/Stormur/Presen… > paper syntaxfest.github.io/syntaxfest21/p…
Exciting discussion "UD 3.0?" now taking place at #SyntaxFest ☺️
Dependency syntax praxis is drinking from the 2019 #SyntaxFest mug while attending #SyntaxFest 2022
Seriously, when gather is properly configured, virtual conferences can be really cool #SyntaxFest21 #SyntaxFest
Virtual #SyntaxFest21 is a very engaging & insightful experience, which makes it a very content time to partake in the poster session to present our @ud_workshop paper! #SyntaxFest
Come check out our poster (with @adam_farris1) at the Universal Dependencies Workshop at #Syntaxfest! Presenting at 13:00 UTC tomorrow. "For the Purpose of Curry: A UD Treebank for Ashokan Prakrit" Paper: aclanthology.org/2021.udw-1.4/
Kudos to S.Mile from the #SyntaxFest21 #SyntaxFest orgs who set up a very nice gathertown interface on which you can finally see a snapshot of a poster just by stepping near it. You can still register and if you don't have fundings contact the orgs, we still have some free pass:)

Looking even more forward to #syntaxfest after seeing this in the registration form! I actually have a favorite badge which I started to bring to badge-wearing gatherings. should be the default for conferences, with some badge stock at hand for people who didn't bring their own.

#SyntaxFest - please do it again @zehavoc @mariecandito @cigilt & all. (also this snapshot calls for a 2nd edition) ;-)
This is the coolest idea to both eliminate disposable containers, make sure the auditorium stays clear. Plus, all the other linguists will be super jealous of your cool new mug. #SyntaxFest
