Do you know you have 12 rights under the #VictimsCode? In certain cases, you have the right to be automatically referred to the Victim Contact Scheme, which gives you the opportunity to be provided with information about the offender in prison #VictimsRights.
Right nine of the #VictimsCode is to be given information about the outcome of the case and any appeals. This means that you have the right to know whether or not the perpetrator has been convicted, and to be given an explanation of the sentence #VictimsRights.
