Hi @EricFehn. You can create a VM with als the updates and Apps (the golden Master) in the portal and capture an image with (e.g.) #WVDAdmin. You can then rollout the image with #WVDAdmin multiple times in a host pool. Did I understand your question correctly?

#WVDAdmin is a great (FREE) #AzureVirtualDesktop ( #AVD) community tool with great value. Its creator, Marcel Meurer (@marcelmeurer) has created a short how-to video to install and configure it. Check it out here: buff.ly/3LjvXOS

Hi @biacz. In #WVDAdmin I deploy the vmss with a custom script extension including a Ps script to join the domain and AVD. The script is also executed with the creation of a new instance. Vmss can not natively use for scaling- it will drop user sessions on scale in :-/

Argh. Unfortunately, I broke my Windows 11 Golden Master for #AVD. But I was able to build a new Master from an existing session host. Nice feature in #WVDAdmin. It also removes the AVD agents. blog.itprocloud.de/Windows-Virtua…
