🗣️🗣️🗣️ THE BUS This week is the #WeekWithoutDriving! 🚴🏾♀️🚇🚃 We can make transit fast, free, and the easiest option for everyone in DC. Weeks like this help us get there.
DC Transportation Equity Network’s #WeekWithoutDriving reminds us not everyone drives. Sidewalks, bike & bus lanes, & WMATA make DC one of the most connected cities in the US. Let’s keep investing in a safe, accessible network for people of all ages/abilities.🚶♀️🚲🚍 @ggwash
#WeekWithoutDriving is almost here and we want to hear from you! This year, Week Without Driving will take place from September 29 to October 5. Whether you bus, bike, roll, or walk, you’re helping build a healthier, more connected community. We’d love for you to share your…
This #WeekWithoutDriving, I’ve taken the Red Line to work and hopped on @CapMetroATX bikes to get to meetings around town! #WeekWithoutDriving helps us reflect on how communities are shaped by transportation, & to stand with the nearly 30% of Americans who don’t drive daily. 1/3
Nearly 1 in 3 Americans don't have a car or can't operate one. This #WeekWithoutDriving, let's commit to making transportation more accessible by investing in public transit. From the Mass. Rail Link to #HighSpeedRail, we can connect Massachusetts and the U.S. for everyone! 🚅
When our transportation system is built only around cars, it leaves too many people behind. #WeekWithoutDriving invites all of us to experience what it’s like to navigate Austin without a car and to consider how we can make our city safer and more accessible for everyone.
Yesterday I kicked off the #WeekWithoutDriving challenge! - Morning bus ride to a doctor’s appointment and back. - Blue line to City Hall to start my day on the council. - Bus to meet up with a friend for tapas. - Blue line back home.
The Red line shouldn’t stop at red lights. For over 20 years these trains have moved millions. Who changed the traffic signals and why? @METROHouston @houmayor @houston Tell us your story at: linkhouston.org/red-line-signa… #WeekWithoutDriving #MetroRail #Houston
#WeekWithoutDriving is underway in Austin and across the country! 🚶♀️🚲🚌 One in three people in the U.S. cannot drive—whether because of age, disability, or other factors. This week is a chance to reflect on how we can build a transportation system that truly serves everyone.
I decided to make my trip multimodel today. Took the 801 into downtown and I’ll be taking a @CapMetroATX bike over to the office on the east side. It’s a beautiful day for an electrified ride! #WeekWithoutDriving

#WeekWithoutDriving @limebike ride to work. I hadn't planned to ride my personal e-bike so it's nice to have spontaneous other options to get around town.
Day 2 of #WeekWithoutDriving This day was more of a challenge! 🧵 - Blue Line LRT to City hall - A ride from Ade to a community meeting at Dogwood - Lime Scooter from dogwood to a VP Debate watch party in the Ward - A kind offer accepted for ride home from @ZaynabMMohamed 🤍
Rode my bike to work every day this week for #WeekWithoutDriving Over 100 miles that I otherwise would have driven (the majority of those on protected bike paths like this one). Not sure why anyone would drive to work in another city when you could bike to work in Minneapolis.
Yesterday was Day 3 of #WeekWithoutDriving! - Blue line to City Hall before the Council Meeting (MPLS gave municipal consent to extend the blue line LRT). 🚊 - Walk to a dinner spot - Bus to American Indian Center for an open house on 3000 Minnehaha - Carpool home 🧵

Mobility justice is about accessible, safe, and equitable movement. I’m so thrilled to be leading #WeekWithoutDriving in Cambridge next week with @cambbikesafety. From 9/30-10/6, we encourage everyone to travel outside of cars, considering the challenges non-drivers face daily.
🎉🎉🎉 To just about no one’s surprise the absolute hustle of @willmasse2 has smashed the competition (👀 @rkaypeters) and won him the #weekwithoutdriving @cleverhoods prize pack 👏👏👏
