Yes, @Seabirders was the number one example when we started the Brain Twitter Conference #brainTC (that later became #OHBMx).

Thank you @aina_puce for inviting #brainTC to be a part of #OHBM. As always the Twitter Conference showed it’s power! A great success, congrats to all involved!!

We’ve been organizing this event annually since 2017 under #brainTC now the event has graduated to be an official part of OHBM. They say all good inventions are inspired by laziness; attending a conference from the comfort of your couch (but also good for family and environment).

I enjoyed last year's Twitter conference organized by @RealBrainTC and I'm very much lookoling forward to a day full of amazing talks while working from home today 🧠📱 @OHBMequinoX. #Neuroscience #OHBM #brainTC

Hey! Great spirit to join &help when so badly needed <3 Do you remember #brainTC? This awesome 24h round-the-globe online brain twitter conference has been endorsed by @OHBM &became @OHBMequinoX :) Name: because it will happen on equinox :) Style: Present your work in 6 tweets❤️

We'll host a Twitter conference on neuroscience next week (ohbmx.org). This is the first time under #OHBMx, based on three years' experience from #brainTC. Of course, the format is different from traditional conferences - but the community has enjoyed it a lot.

sure! We can put that in place (together w/ organizers, if interested).Beauty of twitter conference: all is actually written in tweets :) w/ beautiful illustrations, questions as answers to tweets, all curated under #brainTC –so it becomes less relevant than for video conferences

Sometimes changing the format of conference can help. We've been running Twitter conference (earlier #brainTC, this year will be #OHBMx) for several years now and it's been working well! It's a different experience than in-person conference, but you can get many of the benefits

The #COVID2019 is yet another reason to avoid travel and again a scientific Twitter Conference is the answer! Follow @OHBMequinoX #OHBMX on March 20th and submit your abstract today for the successor of #BrainTC ohbmx.org

Still accepting submissions! If you haven't participated in a Twitter Conference before and you don't know what to expect, you can check out #OHBMX FAQ ohbmx.org/faq/ and 2019 #brainTC FAQ braintc.aalto.fi/2019/?page_id=… You can also DM or email us with any questions you have!

It is time to submit your abstract for #OHBMX Twitter Conference! If you are new to the idea, you can browse past tweet presentations under the hashtag #brainTC.

Abstract submission for #OHBMX Twitter Conference is now open at ohbmx.org. For questions and examples please check ohbmx.org/faq/ or ask here! Three keynote presenters have been confirmed. Join us on 20/March/2020 for 24hrs of neuroscience on Twitter!

Wonderful news! Congrats to the #BrainTC team and everyone else who made this possible. Looking forward to March 20th!

We’ve taken #BrainTC to the next level and merged ourselves with OHBM, making the neuroscience Twitter conference even bigger!! (And by we I mean all the wonderful people taking over since life has taken me to other paths). Stay tuned on March 20th!!

It's a developing model with growing success, have a look at #brainTC discussion. A real conference connecting researchers, and available to all publics, making science present in the digital sphere. No travelling.

Effectively I'm using the #brainTC as a model. We ask presenters to shortly present a bite sized version of their work inside dedicated time slots (within 15min) in no more than 4 threaded tweets using the #MLTC hashtag. Should be fun! :)

That certainly makes sense! In this case, I will talk to my department at University and see what we can do... I feel that there are a lot of people who would love to be involved with a ML Twitter Conference #MLTC and it's great to know that its genesis was guided by #BrainTC
