Might be awhile on that one, though. Seems the emulation for the game has crashing issues and a very bad audio crackling/stuttering bug as well.
I mean to their defense, Emulators can't get most of the recent Nintendo output working on there anymore. Even certain games like Kirby's Return to Dreamland Deluxe has some problems working on emulators such as screen tearing.
I'm really about to give up of playing Metroid Prime 4 I'm seeing some people being able to emulate it, even if they are suffering from stuttering, but when I try it doesn't matter what I do the emulator just crashes or refuses to read the game, even after converting to nsp
Since this post they have manage to get it working up to the Menu screen and it fails on loading, at this rate it will be fully playable on emulators within 24hrs
They have it working now, but just barely and it stutters in a nearly unplayable state. They’ll adjust the emulator’s code, but I’m sure Nintendo won’t fail to notice and take action.
Idk, I've been emulating long enough to know it's not worth it. Errors like that are pretty consistent across the board and it's mostly about the version of the emulator and settings you're using with it as opposed to anything to do with hardware
This seems very small until other issues with official emulators show up. It's not an ideal experience. You have cases like with the Wii in which the screen for games were darkened for some reason, new bugs appeared, or you lack basic features like upscaling and FF.
I am stuck on chapter 14 because the emulator freezes. It also can't emulate a 2004 game properly because it has tons of slowdown.
for some reason 3/4 of the emulators that i tried made the vaulting mechanic buggy and me and my friend had to reset at like 3am and start all over again
The emulated version is hilariously broken, From a specific fletchinder in the intro causing a crash, to models and textures just absolutely breaking down and making the screen a stroby mess, And certain graphic settings cause buildings to flicker in and out of existence
IYKYK... this was harder than it looks to fix. This part is actually broken in all current emulators across the board.
There's a bunch of technical issues with this emulated version. Battles can get softlocked (especially when you use dragoon form), memory leaks (you'll run into problems after two-three hours of play) and graphical glitches.
Probably wouldn't help you much but have you tried deleting the emu.cfg file? Deleting it should reset the emulator config and possibly fix the issue for you as I've seen it fix a lot of issues before.
Emulators: I'm sorry to hear that some of you have issues playing the latest version of Brawl. Playing on emulators has never been officially supported from our side mainly due to tech issues and cheating concerns. We do not plan to change anything about our stance.
MIDI sounds weren't seeking to the start on replays. We will submit a patch. Still, everything was glitchy with audio underruns. We noticed that the emulator was taking an absurd amount of CPU, despite the game being built for <100 MHz mobile CPUs. \
Anyone know how to fix this...? I'm on Dolphin 5.0 by the way with GameCube BIOs on because I do want to get a Knuckles and Amy chao I know this probably isn't the place to ask but I honestly don't know where else to go... #gamehelp #emulatorproblems
