I can't answer it cuz It depends on specific person goals if you want to make games then c#(i don't other for games my friend is just game dev so it is advice from him) for the web — Javascript for mobile dev — Swift/react Native/Kotlin/Flutter for backend — Python maybe

Gdscript is cool and has its place. Id still use C# for all my core game logic because [gesturing at porting thread]; im always hesitant to overinvest in platforn specific tech. Use a lingua franca like C# and you can hit the bricks.

For game dev, Unity and C# is the fast path, but core technology work still gets done in C/C++. Python dominates machine learning, and JS obviously dominates the web. Java/Kotlin on Android, and Swift/Obj-C on iOS. All depends on your priorities...
