Professor uncle Tony Birch eloquently explains that fundamental change is often met with refusal and the need for dialogue to save such an important political and intellectual project. #saveipcs

90approx in attendance, listen to members, inc founding members, stories of what a public intellectual space is & can do ... these are not stories about a "public facing institute" to use the current board's lingo but a real project of public pedagogy for everyone #saveIPCS

A great letter emphasizing the importance of dedicated places where we can think together...and talk #saveIPCS #transformIPCS

What the board represents as radical & aggressive, was some very basic demands for executive accountability to members & their labour, to include diverse experiences of settler colony in the governance structure. Pretty sure BHP has a more diverse board than IPCS #Saveipcs

Help us keep the Institute going. As active members of the Institute of Postcolonial Studies, we have spent years at the Institute cultivating community, growing mutually and bringing life to a space that invited us to engage with questions of the postcolonial.
