Yay! More #silicondoodle :) From a Philips TDA4660 TV Chip. The Castle is the crest of Hamburg, the Key is the crest of Bremen, The deer-and-house... No Idea, does anyone know?
More silicon art! These were from some physically damaged chips, so I don't know their ID. I'll image them properly tomorrow, but for now, check out some #silicondoodle :)
ItĀ“s #NationalHoliday! š©šŖ Hello Germany, happy 3rd of October...š„³ In the last years, I discovered awesome #silicondoodle #art made in #Germany.... Here is my current best-of selection: Freiburg (Micronas/ITT), Hamburg (Philips), Düsseldorf (Siemens), Dresden (ZMD).
Hey! Here we have another integrated circuit made by Dialog. Like the previous one, the I75602 also contain an old fashion cell phone #Silicondoodle. I open it up many years ago using a gas torch, so it's a little bit burnt.
In other, more pleasant, news... I think I found an ITT thing! Two separate ITT chips have the same #siliconart and I am just photographing a third! Keep an eye out on ITT chips for a Christmas tree #silicondoodle
I found a submarine and two camels on the same chip?! Phillips TDA Teletext processor. Better images and more details coming soon! #silicondoodle #chipart
TDA4470 is a multistandard video-IF and quasi parallel sound processing integrated circuit coming from an CRT TV, whos having his own micro TV on itself šŗ For some reason marking on the die is TDA4474. #Silicondoodle
Itās #ColoradoSprings! Hewlett-Packardās oscilloscope has various interesting chips on board. Today, I decapped the output amplifier IC 5081-3030 from the 1980s. Every of the three dies have a #silicondoodle representing a mountain view of Colorado Springs with a rising sun andā¦
So⦠spammers defeated, I can now relax and do some things I enjoy! *ALL* these chips are Phillips, and all appear to be made from 1990 to 2000. Iād bet my last dollar that thereās a #silicondoodle in there somewhere!

Macro shot of the Macro Array CMOS High-density (MACH) IC. The #silicondoodle is in the left lower corner.
Itās a MACH! āļø #AMD designed chips in the 1990s using a 0.8micron process and called them MACH-Macro Array CMOS High-density. A century earlier, E. Mach came up with the Mach unit describing the supersonic speed of aircrafts. So the designers left a speedy jet on this silicon.
Itās a #Mustang! The HP PA-7000 is a beautiful golden capped microprocessor which includes two top screws to attach the required heatsink. The #silicondoodle on the chip was produced as described in below link from the #SiliconZoo. The āsunken via methodā produces tiny dotsā¦

Itās #ColoradoSprings! The smallest IC then finally could deliver an adequate picture of the #silicondoodle. šļø š The silicon however has a very course bubbly surface⦠Need to investigate this⦠4/n
