Traditional automation = Rigid 🧱 Future manufacturing = Unbound 🔓 @BostonDynamics breaks down why humanoids aren't just cool tech—they are the necessary "Generalists" for the next era of work. Watch the webinar: [bostondynamics.com/webinars/why-h…] #Robotics #Atlas #AI #Manufacturing
Yep. And I really dont get the craze for humanoid "one-size-fit-all" robots. I already use plenty of robots in my daily life. All those combined are way cheaper than humanoid and take less space (though delivery robots I dont have at home 😆) x.com/tomppajo/statu…
That being said, I dont really understand why it needs to be size fits all. 🤷♂️ I already have a tiny robot for sweeping and vacuuming floors. I get food and groceries delivered to my door by a robot. My blender can do simple meals, I toss stuff in, and it chops and heats it.
Explore how advanced connector technologies power the intelligence, motion, and perception of humanoid robots, enabling lifelike movement, durability, and seamless power and data flow across every subsystem. ow.ly/pX8950Xqm58 #Amphenol #HumanoidRobots #Robotics
Conclusion the robotics of the future is no longer just a concept, it’s something you can talk to, walk with, and work with today. By bringing Tommy into its ecosystem, PrismaX is doing two things at once: ▫️Introducing an advanced humanoid that’s ready to be used for research,…
3. Senses: Sensors to Read the Surrounding World Tommy is equipped with a variety of sensors that help it understand its environment: force, vision (cameras), audio, and spatial awareness. ▫️Tommy can see the room: detecting objects, distances, and obstacles. ▫️Tommy can sense…
1. Who is Tommy? Tommy is a Ubtech Walker humanoid, a human-sized bipedal robot with 36+ servo joints and a complete sensor system (force, vision, hearing, and spatial awareness) Simply put, Tommy is an intelligent assistant that can move around homes, offices, or public spaces…
In the past, highly intelligent humanoids only existed in sci fi movies Now, you can stand right in front of one, talk to it, and invite it to work with you. Meet Tommy; the Ubtech Walker that brings the robotic experience of the future into the real world together with…
This guy had a childhood dream of creating his own robot friend inspired by movies like wall-e and the iron giant. He spent well over a year and finally, Tommy-B-003 came to life! He works on it in silence and takes his time since he has no type of funding, but posts major…
🤖 gPrisma @PrismaXai 🧵 1/6 Today, we often think of #robots as tools for pre-programmed tasks, but that's quickly changing. Modern robots combine #AI and #teleoperation , which lets them learn new skills, adapt faster, and work in places where humans can't easily go.
Robots don’t fail because of bad hardware, they fail because of untested logic. 🦾 #Robotexon runs thousands of controlled simulations before deployment, exposing flaws invisible in the lab. From path collisions to timing drifts, we catch what others discover too late. Real…
Then what is our purpose if we are going to create and hand over our responsibilities to robots?
On the weekend, Tommy sits and observes all of you teleoperating the robo-arm.

They should have asked Ted Lawson to help design this. He's been doing robotics programming since 1985. 😂
Capitalism following the objective laws of development has created its own Frankenstein. This is the qualitative leap in the means of production, robotics. Robotics is not compatible with capitalism. 3/4
