The Backrooms is one of those concepts where less is more, hope they don’t ruin it by trying to explain everything.
Not THAT subtle, considering the Backrooms is probably one of the most famous (if not the most) pieces of analog horror
I like how this is seemingly the only reason the movie is ever so subtly set in the 90s. Was extremely confused to see the camcorder pop up, but everyone knows iPhone footage just isn’t as spooky.
Navidson Record is not similar to this beyond a corridor that goes on forever.The Backrooms stay the same shape while the house is constantly shifting.The house actually uses the fact that it can shift and change at its will to take people.(Tom and Holloway)

The plot of the backrooms series was literally a bunch of people working for the government walking in and out of the backrooms ALL THE TIME. But hey we should listen to DakkaDakka1 and is incredible knowing of the backrooms way more than the fucking creator of it

Im wondering abt if the lifeform is more akeen to people who got lost in the backrooms infected with bacteria, so more human like until later in the film and deeper in the backrooms. Wouldn't be surprised if it's not as "alien" as in the Web series
