Connor Hellebuyck played amazing for sure and deserves game MVP. But for those saying Canada dominated the contest, let's remember a 5 on 3 for a minute and a half when they should have scored. Also, Faber's shot hit both posts and stayed out for the US.
That is true, but he got beat lots. Faber double post shot. Was way out of the net on a missed pass. Toeves saved another empty net chance. Canada only gave up 19 shots or whatever, and he looked beatable about 5 times. But yeah, if Canada scores 2 or 3, they win.

Slavin played well today, better than his previous games. Faber has been the issue and got more minutes than he should have. I liked Werenski getting time with Quinn as well, but Werenski and Sanderson are clearly the better pair over Slavin/Faber. Shut down or not.

Blessed 🙏 Had a great time at the Boys Sequential Showcase. I ran the 200 and stepped out of my comfort zone to try the 4x800. Ended up running a 22.8 in the 200 and splitting 2:00.5 in the 4x800. Both are lifetime PRs. Grateful for the opportunity and excited for what’s ahead.
