Pretty much just read the Mistborn trilogy first, and from there you have some leeway. I personally fw this one, particularly the Mixed Series order. Only rule is try not to start Stormlight until you've read Warbreaker, honestly.

mistborn movie adaptations is all fun and games until i remember the state i was in reading the last fifty pages of book 3 i can NEVER watch an adaptation of that
This is about as ideal as a Cosmere adaptation could get. Mistborn works as a cinematic franchise, Stormlight needs a TV format, and Sanderson retaining creative control massively increases the odds of this being done right.

Always thought mistborn as a trilogy of movies would slap. As for stormlight... animated has to be the way. Im afraid of getting wheel of time part 2 with a show.
This is definitely different than that. But the world building is incredible. And there are some compelling love stories in the Mistborn series.

One of my daughters and I read this together. It is a wonderful memory that I only found out today how much she cherishes, when she shared the news that she was going to drag me into the theatre to watch the Mistborn movies.
It's been so long I don't even remember much from that series lol. (Which I guess says something given that I have better memory of Mistborn 1 which I read even longer ago.)
No. Mistborn 1 was ok, 2 was boring, never finished 3. Brandon Sanderson has to be the most over-hyped authors I've ever read. If it wasn't for Mormons eating up his books for the sole fact that he is Mormon, i dont think he would be very successful.
