Did you even play Palworld though? It's far from being seen as a Pokémon like, it has generally become it's own thing with monster capture in mind. Pickmon is pretty much stealing from many other games and not caring.

Palworld has completely moved away from doing anything with Pokémon. It's more like arc survival, but the survival isn't all that important either. It's just a creature capture with guns. Pickmon, in their own trailer displayed many assest rips from other games proudly.
Yeah and honestly that is probably for the better. Since the Palworld lawsuit Sony has been buying up patent rights to "not enforce them" and I fear that could change if the laws hit them too hard.
A game comes out that is a ripoff of PalWorld and Pokémon together…and people somehow blame PalWorld. People who specifically never actually played or even looked at the game and just believe social media posts making long debunked claims. Crazy times.

those who have been following me for a long time know that before Pokopia and even before Palworld, I had a very different and silly idea for a post-apocalyptic pokemon world
I'm curious to see how Palworld responds to Pickmon after mysteriously appearing on Steam; the developers' names are very similar. If Palworld sues along with Nintendo, we'll know they're seriously infringing on copyright. Let's wait and see @Palworld_EN's response.
