It's a "Loulou de Poméranie" in french but sometimes shortened as Loulou, contrary to English (then Japanese) where it's just called Pomeranian or Pom. Pombom sounds like Bonbon, candy (caramelo) not heat/fire ->Caloulou is the same cal as in Calor.
