Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen are already #1 on the Switch eShop (US). I'm not surprised. More Pokemon games have sold on Switch than any other platform by a significant margin. There is a huge audience for older games in the series.

Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen skyrocket to #1 on the US Nintendo Switch 1 eShop charts. Mainline Pokemon games always sell very well. Pokemon Day is happening on Feb.27th, so more announcements are coming, which might include the new Gen10 game built for the Nintendo Switch 2.

I believe it is not that Fire Red is shit, but that paying $20 for a ROM is ridiculous. It's a GameBoy Advance title, at best it should sit at $10 or less, like they would do with the 3DS eShop. The low standards is the shit here, not the game.
